Data Deletion Instructions
Businesses and individuals can request deletion of information processed through DAF Agents. We verify requests to protect accounts and prevent unauthorized deletion.
For a connected business
- Disconnect the relevant Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, WhatsApp Business account, or other integration from your DAF Agents workspace when that option is available.
- Email deletion@dafagents.com from the workspace administrator email with the subject Business Data Deletion Request.
- Include the business name, workspace email, connected channel, and the Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp Business Account identifier if available.
- State whether you want one integration removed or the entire DAF Agents workspace deleted.
For an end user
If you messaged a business that uses DAF Agents, contact that business first because it controls the customer relationship and can identify the relevant conversation. You may also email deletion@dafagents.com with:
- The name of the business you contacted.
- The platform used, such as Facebook Messenger or Instagram.
- Your platform username or identifier and the approximate conversation date.
- A description of the information you want deleted.
Do not send your password, access token, one-time code, or government identification unless our privacy team specifically requests a safe verification method.
What happens next
- We acknowledge the request and may ask for information needed to verify authority or locate the data.
- We coordinate with the connected business where it is the controller of the requested data.
- After verification, covered production data is deleted or de-identified within 30 days unless retention is required by law, security, fraud prevention, or an active dispute.
- Encrypted backups may retain a protected copy for up to 90 days before automatic expiry. Backup data is not used for normal business operations.
- We send confirmation when the request is completed or explain any lawful limitation.
Facebook and Instagram permissions
Removing DAF Agents from your Facebook or Instagram business integrations stops future authorized access. To remove an app from Meta, use your Facebook or Instagram business settings and remove DAF Agents from connected business integrations. A separate deletion request may still be needed for previously stored data.
Information we may retain
We may retain limited records needed to demonstrate compliance, resolve billing, prevent abuse, establish or defend legal claims, and meet mandatory legal obligations. Retained records remain restricted and are deleted when the applicable requirement ends.
